Halloween is always fun for me. We are not the gory type family. We don't like scary movies or anything of that type.
So when we go to pick out costumes it really is a fun thing to do. In fact Isiah is kind of scared of all the masks and creepy stuff. I guess that is my fault for never letting him around all that stuff.
Anywho, we went to Party City to look at costumes and really couldn't find anything we liked, so we went to Halloween Express. I was really disappointed at the lack of quality they have for costumes. What is this material that is so thin you can see right through it. And they want you to let your kid go out in the cold with just that on.
We finally found Isiah a very nice costume - An Army Soldier. He looks so HANDSOME!
Alexis was pretty easy too. Scott didn't want her in any of the fru fru outfits. So we found a Princess Leia costume. It came with a lil hat that had the buns on it. TOOO CUTE!! And it kept her head warm, so perfect costume.
Mom went trick er treating with us. Alexis went up to almost all the doors Isiah did and got candy.. I mean Mom and Dad have to have candy right?!?! Everyone commented on her buns...they knew right away who she was. Both Isiah and Alexis got lots of candy.
Oh something worth mentioning. Every year this house on Sandborn has a garage that they make up super super scary. Isiah this year says Mom I am going to go up. So we both walked up together. So proud of my lil man!
