Being a Mommy

Most of you probably know that when I found out I was pregnant I was deeply depressed. I just couldn't imagine having a little baby in the house again. I was a Mom not a Mommy, you know, that stage where you child stops being a baby and requires different things from you. I was at a place in my career with wanting to change jobs (my boss was retiring) and trying to move up the "corporate ladder" I didn't think that I would be a good Mommy.

I am so excited to be a Mommy now, I don't even know how to describe it. I love Alexis like no other and the part I was worried about didn't happen. I didn't know how I was going to love two kids the same amount! It is like God had all worked out from creation. Everything just connects and works and feels so right.

I really am so blessed to have such a wonderful husband, and children as well as a great family to support me. I can't thank God enough each day for all the wonderful things he has given me.
