Baby Shower

We had the Shower for the Baby on Feb 21st.

We had at least 20 people there for the shower! For those of you that know me thats alot. I haven't really had very many people over at the house before. I am shy... ok ok noone believes that.

Mom hosted the shower and did a wonderful job. I think that she is just head over happiness that there is a girl going to be born. Rho & Kate did the games. The games were really a fun time. We started out with the Baby Game (You couldn't say Baby or you lost the pacifier you were wearing around your neck - the one with the most won) then they had the Poopy Diaper (This is where they melted chocolate in the diapers and then everyone had to smell/look whatever other methods they chose to figure out what chocolate it was. Kathy won this game. Girls gotta have her chocolate :) One game I thought was really cool was Baby Bingo. They had to write down on a Bingo Card the gifts they thought I was going to get and first one to get a straight line won a gift and they did a cover all too. So the guests had something to do while I was opening presents. Lastly they did the How Big is Ruthie's Belly. That was alot of fun. Some people were really nice and only chose a length that was half of me, others chose lengths that were waaaaay huge.

I think that everyone had a great time. I know I did.

Honorable mention to Scott for painting, moping, ironing (yes I said ironing)curtains and doing all the non manly things he did so that I wouldn't stress out over the party being at my house.

Thank you to all my friends who came to the party! I swear I kept having this nightmare that noone was going to show up.

Oh yes, suprise guest, Molly from Christ showed up!!! That was too cool!
